Danielle Langford’s bronze sculpture has been exhibited nationally in solo shows, group exhibitions, juried shows and is in private collections throughout the country and in Ireland. Recently the V Gallery in Woodstock, Vermont, The Beth Ellis Cove Gallery in Ogunquit, Maine and the Kent Art Association in Connecticut have represented her work. She has accepted portrait bust commissions and executed the Millennium Sun Dial at the Ethel Walker School in Simsbury, Connecticut. Danielle has received numerous awards including in the Members Show at the New Britain Museum of American Art in New Britain, Connecticut, the New Rochelle Art Association in New Rochelle, New York, and the Kent Art Association in Kent, Connecticut, among others. Danielle was born in North Carolina in 1945. She earned a BA and MA in Art Education from the College of New Rochelle in New Rochelle, New York and did post graduate study in sculpture at the State University of New York in Purchase, New York. She maintains a studio/gallery at the Farmington Valley Art Center in Avon, Connecticut. |
